Looking for a ‘dog-gone’ good time this summer? The BISSELL Block Party is unleashed in Grand Rapids on Wednesday the 14th of June!

This is one of the most exciting events of the season and a great opportunity to get to know our neighbors, be they two- or four-legged. Delicious ‘yappetizers’ and delightful music will punctuate the festivities of this stupendous opportunity to mingle with our fellow Michiganians!

So grab your friends and bring your pooch to enjoy tasty ‘yappetizers’, music, a silent auction, and mingling with other animal lovers and their four-legged friends!

Come out to support The Bissell Pet Foundation, a 501(c) (3) non-profit founded in 2011 to help animal welfare organizations make the world a little bit more welcoming to our furry friends. The auction may be silent, but the Block Party will be anything but a quiet time. As the slogan promises, it’s the best dog-gone party in town! Tickets are only $65 in advance, $75 the night of, and for an additional fee you can enter a drawing to win a Free iPad with 16GB memory and Retina Display. That’s a prize to bark for! This event would be no fun without our canine compadres. The party itself will be on grass with plenty of areas for your dog to do whatever they need to. Flexi-leashes are discouraged. If your dog is adopted, they’ll be treated to a special bandana adorned by one of the volunteers. Dress code is canine black tie optional.

Please be advised parking is available at Mangiamo! at the corner of Lake and Carroll, and primarily at the LaFontse Gallery. Free trolley and Pedicabs can bring you and four-legged friend right to the party.

The BISSELL Blocktail Party is dedicated to helping our community. A donation of just $25 can provide food for one month for a colony of feral cats. Come out June 11th and help support this great organization while having a fun time out!
